Urology surgery is surgery on the male and female urinary tract system and the male reproductive organs. These include, in both men and women, the kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra. These also include, in men, the testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate, and penis.
This type of surgery is done by a urologist, which is a physician specializing in diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment, and prevention and reconstruction associated with urologic diseases, tumours, deformities, disorders, and injuries.
