Patricia Patry is a practicing full-time senior managing partner at both Midwifery Services of Durham and Markham Midwives. She graduated in 1998 from McMaster University with a BHSc in midwifery and has had privileges at Oak Valley Health’s Markham Stouffville since 1999.
Patricia holds a BSc degree in physics, chemistry and biology from the University of Alberta and a diploma in early childhood education. She is a member of the Durham Perinatal Network Committee, the Markham Stouffville Perinatal Bereavement Committee, and the AMU Governance Council.
Her passion has always been in the area of newborn and childhood development and nutrition, with a focus on preparing couples for the transition to parenthood.
Patricia is a mum to two amazing children, one of whom was delivered at home under the loving guidance of her midwives. Their very busy family life is filled with sports, camping adventures, travel and time spent with good friends.
