Dr. Esufali studied undergraduate medicine at the University of Ottawa. She did her residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto. Prior to embarking in medicine, she worked as a scientist and obtained her PhD in colorectal cancer genetics at the University of Toronto. Presently, she has a family practice and works as a rehab physician at Oak Valley Health’s Markham Stouffville Hospital. In addition, she runs the geriatrics rotation for the Family Medicine Program at MSH and takes care of patients in long-term care and a retirement home.
