Dr. Liu completed his MD and MSc degrees at the University of British Columbia, Neurology residency at Queen’s University and Sleep Medicine fellowship at Harvard University. He is a certified neurologist by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. With an interest in epilepsy, he is certified in EEG interpretation and is a diplomate of the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists.
Dr. Liu is jointly appointed to the division of Neurology and the division of Sleep Medicine at the Markham Stouffville Hospital in Ontario. Dr. Liu is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Medicine at McMaster University.
