Rhonda is a Certified Management Accountant and obtained her Honors Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and her MBA from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario. She taught accounting at Ivey for six years, as well as researched and authored teaching cases for the HBA and MBA programs.
Rhonda left academia to pursue a career with American Express, where she held various marketing management positions before moving to the insurance industry with Lombard Canada, a Fairfax Financial company.
Rhonda has been at CAA Club Group for 20 years, joining as Vice President of Insurance overseeing the Property & Casualty insurance company for seven years. In 2010, she took the role of Vice President Corporate Marketing, leading the acquisition and retention of CAA Roadside Assistance, Home & Auto Insurance, Travel Insurance, Travel, and Rewards. In 2016 Rhonda became Chief Marketing Officer, taking on additional responsibility for Travel and Membership Product and the Government & Community Relations team.
Rhonda spent seven years as a volunteer Board Member at Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation and retired as Past Chair of the Foundation in 2019. She now sits on the Oak Valley Health Board as 2nd Vice Chair and Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee. Rhonda is also a Director on the Board of Auto Canada Inc..
Leisure time for Rhonda includes skiing, travel, entertaining, and Lenny, her golden retriever.
