Following a lengthy career in the Ontario Public Service, Nancy is currently Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration at York University. Nancy served as the former Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) in the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General where she established and led the Modernization Division, having earlier served as the ADM of Operations in the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
Previously she was the Executive Director of Ontario Provincial Schools. She is a graduate of the Queen’s Smith School of Business in Public Sector Leadership as well as the Rotman School of Management Executive Program. She is certified in Negotiation and Alternative Dispute Resolution mediation and holds a PhD from the University of Toronto. Nancy is the recipient of numerous awards including the Premier’s Award for Excellence in Leadership. She is a certified Executive Coach (PCC), an active runner, and gardener. Having lived in York Region for over 30 years she continues to engage in a variety of volunteer efforts.
