Chris is a Partner with EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services group where he leads our national Finance Optimization team. Chris specializes in advising Finance executives on Finance 4.0 strategies aimed at modernizing the Finance function and increasing Finance’s ability to support strategic decision making and analysis by establishing more effective business partnering relationships; leveraging automation and analytics to drive internal efficiency; and by understanding the external forces of disruption and their impact on long-term organization value. He understands that to survive and thrive in tomorrow’s environment, the role of Finance needs to shift from value protection to value creation and works with his clients to successfully navigate this transition to become more efficient, responsive and insightful.

Chris currently serves as a Board of Director at Oak Valley Health and a member of the Development and Planning committee, having formerly sat on the Finance and Audit Committee since 2018. Throughout his career, Chris has been actively involved in initiatives outside of his day job, from involvement with fund raising initiatives for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, as a volunteer martial arts coach, and as a former trustee on his local condo board.

Chris holds an Honours Bachelor of Administration (HBA) degree from the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant under CPA Ontario.
