Tiffany Haidon is the founding partner of Uxbridge Community Midwives. The clinic opened in November 2008 with privileges at Oak Valley Health’s Markham Stouffville Hospital. Tiffany is the head midwife of the Division of Midwifery at Oak Valley Health, as well as a prominent member of the midwifery community, currently serving as president of the College of Midwives of Ontario (CMO). She is a preceptor for Ontario’s Midwifery Education Programme (Laurentian, McMaster and Ryerson Universities). Prior to midwifery, Tiffany practiced as a perinatal nurse for eight years at Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital and one year at Oak Valley Health’s Markham Stouffville Hospital. She currently maintains her nursing license. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree of Global Health Policy with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, England. Tiffany has her 200 h Yoga Teacher Training Certificate and has recently completed her Advanced Open Water Diving Certificate – both passions of hers.
