Dr. Deepa Grewal joined Oak Valley Health in 2005, and progressed to the Chief of Paediatrics role in 2013. Among other initiatives, she has been instrumental in developing the Paediatric Outpatient Clinical Program, promoting evidence-based practices and MSH’s involvement in the Kids Health Alliance.

Dr. Grewal completed her undergraduate degree in pharmacology and physiology at the University of Toronto, and then a Bachelor of Education at the University of Ottawa. She graduated in medicine from the American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten. She went on to complete her training in the UK, USA and Canada. She completed her paediatric residency and chief resident year in Illinois and Connecticut, followed by a clinical infectious disease fellowship year at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

Dr. Grewal is a Toronto Maple Leafs fan who enjoys travelling with her husband and two children and snorkeling in warm waters.
