Alexia Singh is a hospitalist and full-time practicing midwife at Ancestral Hands Midwives. She has held privileges at Oak Valley Health’s Markham Stouffville Hospital since 2015.
Her areas of interest include working within the Black birthing community to reduce racial disparities associated with perinatal outcomes and improving access to midwifery care for underrepresented communities. She is passionate about creating equitable opportunities to improve health literacy for all birthers.
Alexia is a council member with the College of Midwives of Ontario and actively works to ensure she is providing exceptional care in the public interest.
