Our new Midwifery Program celebrated the delivery of its first baby, born to Priyanshi, a new mother who moved to Markham partway through her pregnancy.

Oak Valley Health is ushering in a new era of midwifery care with its Midwifery Program and group model of care format, set to launch this fall. This innovative approach represents a shift from traditional one-on-one care to a collaborative group model aimed at enhancing access to care and fostering community support.

With shovels expected in the ground for early construction prep in fall 2024, some recent updates on Uxbridge Hospital’s redevelopment include a recording of our Virtual Community Town Hall, parking lot details, selection of an architect, temporary helipad location, and the announcement of the campaign cabinet.
