Our Simulation program is an innovative teaching and learning approach that replicates real-life clinical scenarios in a safe, controlled environment.
It enables health care professionals and administrative teams — including Emergency Preparedness, Quality and Safety, Transformation, Research, Redevelopment, Community Engagement, and clinical teams such as nurses, physicians, and allied health staff — to practise skills, critical thinking, and decision-making.
Using advanced tools such as high-fidelity manikins, virtual reality, and task trainers, the program provides hands-on experience in diverse clinical situations, from routine procedures to emergency interventions.
By leveraging evidence-based simulation practices and instructional design principles, the program supports education, quality improvement, and research initiatives. Its overarching goal is to build a more prepared and confident health care workforce, strengthen interprofessional collaboration, and ultimately enhance patient care and safety across the organization.
