We accommodate clinical student placements each year from various professions with affiliated colleges and universities within Ontario. We are committed to educate students that will one day work with our interprofessional teams at our hospitals.
Students interested in a placement at Markham Stouffville Hospital or Uxbridge Hospital must work with their affiliated school’s program administrator/placement coordinator to facilitate a request.
Confirmed students with an assigned preceptor are still required to have their program administrator/placement coordinator contact us to ensure you receive orientation prior to commencing your placement.
Affiliation agreements
Our organization has a long history of academic activity. Within our walls, over 30 different professions, representing 11 professional colleges and affiliated with over 33 educational institutions, receive the training required to excel in patient care.
Additionally, we have affiliation agreements with the following educational institutions with the aim of supporting student education within our walls and contributing to the next generation of healthcare practitioners.
Confidentiality and privacy
All students and faculty advisors/instructors with IT access are required to complete and submit an IT security acknowledgement form as well as a confidentiality form prior to receiving passwords.
