Rheta Fanizza has more than 25 years of senior executive experience within the acute care, long-term care, retirement, and community health sectors. Rheta has consulted for the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, and led a number of consulting projects in the area of care transitions and alternate level of care. She has held a wide variety of operational responsibilities within Ontario and nationally.

Most recently, she was Baycrest Health Science’s Executive Vice President, Residential and Community Programs where she was responsible for overseeing the operations and growth of Baycrest’s residential and community-based initiatives. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President at SE Health. Rheta holds a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Rheta currently has her own consulting firm which focuses on growth and operational consulting in health care, as well as in the functional foods industry. She is also a long time resident of Markham.  Her passion for innovation and people-powered health care fuels her relentless pursuit of creative solutions to complex challenges.
