Darrell Sewell is Interim Vice President, People and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Oak Valley Health. Prior to joining the Oak Valley Health team, Darrell has been the executive lead for human resources and other support services in several hospitals across Ontario, including most recently Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Mount Sinai, and Lakeridge Health to name a few.  During his 34-year career, he has had lead roles in central bargaining, regional HR committees, and national HR systems user groups. His generalist background in all facets of HR and CHRE designation and leadership of other hospital services including engineering and infrastructure, food services, environmental services, and security and volunteer resources positions him well to guide Oak Valley Health during this interim period.
