With over 30 years of experience in the for-profit, non-profit, academic, and government sectors, Christian Buhagiar is a seasoned executive and board director who delivers results and drives transformation. He is the President and Founder of Ellem Strategies Inc. and currently he serves as the fractional Executive Director of the Greater Stouffville Chamber and is also the principal and co-lead of the interim and fractional executive search practice at the advisory firm B. Riley Farber.

Christian has a proven track record of growing organizations and their reputations, launching products and initiatives, and building relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government, media, and industry partners. He has previously served as the vice-chair of a hospital board and has sat on 10 boards across various sectors and sizes, bringing value from his expertise in corporate governance, strategy, risk, audit, and crisis management.

He has completed director training in both Canada and the U.S. and was a senior executive with Canada’s Institute of Corporate Directors.
