Step 1: apply online
Once you have submitted an online application, a Recruitment Specialist will review your application in conjunction with the Hiring Manager.
**We wish to thank all applicants, however, only those invited for an interview/phone screen will be contacted directly.**
Step 2: shortlisting
Oak Valley Health has a team of Human Resource Specialists who will review your application and assess your skills, knowledge, and experience to the position you applied to. If selected, your resume will be sent to the Manager for review and further consideration.
Step 3: phone screen
If required, selected candidates will be contacted via email to arrange a 10-15 minute telephone conversation to review their application, position details, and next steps.
Step 4: interview
Successful shortlisted and phone-screened candidates may be invited to attend an in-person interview or web-based interview (Zoom, Skype, Go to meeting, etc).
Prior to your interview, you will be asked to email the HR Specialist the following:
- Copies of any professional credentials related to the position you are applying to
- Copies of any Educational Certificates/Degrees and or courses
If testing or a presentation is required, you will be advised and provided further details.
Step 5: second interview
Depending on the position, a second interview may be required. If required, you will be notified in advance if known, or after the first stage interview.
Step 6: verification checks
Selected candidates will be contacted to obtain consent for verification checks to be completed by a third party. This can include reference, background, and vulnerable sector check.
Step 7: interview decisions
Once final decisions are made, all interview candidates will be notified via email.
What to expect if I’m hired?
If you are a successful candidate, you will have an employment offer extended in a written offer letter. Once you sign back, you will also receive a welcome email including a comprehensive overview of our benefits (if Full Time) and services we provide to all Oak Valley Health employees. You will also be required to complete a vulnerable sector check and New Hire Health Assessment prior to start date.
All staff will be required to attend a condensed week of full time orientation, regardless of the status of the position you are hired to.
